The "Di Zi Gui" standards for being a good pupil and child were written during the Qing Dynasty to teach students how to be a good person and give guidelines for living in harmony with others. Based on the ancient teachings of Confucius, it is written in three-character verses that are easy for children to read and memorize. The book is accompanied by vivid pictures and easy explanation of each rule.

　《弟子規》相傳是由清代李毓秀編纂而成，原名《訓蒙文》，後經人修訂，改名為《弟子規》。它的思想核心是孝悌仁愛，講述如何孝順父母、尊敬兄長等等為人處世、讀書求學的道理。
