Dvořák started studying at the Prague Organ School at sixteen and later worked as a violinist at the Czech National Theatre. Influenced by conductor Smetana, he focused on promoting national music. At thirty-two, he released his Third Symphony, gaining recognition from Brahms, which helped him gain fame in Europe and the US.

From 1892 to 1895, Dvořák taught in America, blending American musical elements with Bohemian style, leading to works like the famous Ninth Symphony, "New World." His music reflects the romantic Bohemian color within a classical framework, deeply influenced by Brahms.
